Welcome to the Canteiro website ("site"). Canteiro ("we", "us") provide goods and services subject to the notices, terms and conditions outlined below. Your use of this website constitutes agreement with the conditions that follow and we reserve the right to revise these conditions at any time. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.

Your Personal Information will be used to provide the information, goods and services provided through our website, for billing, and for the fulfilment of orders. Some information may be collected automatically using cookies. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

4.1 product information

Canteiro sells a range of homeware, art prints and gifting items. We attempt to be as accurate as possible when presenting and describing our products online. However, Canteiro cannot guarantee that product descriptions and website content is complete, current, accurate of free of errors. If any product received does not match its description on our website, it can be returned unused as described in our Returns Policy.

4.2 delivery terms

We deliver all over Great Britain (including the Highlands and Islands) and the Isle of Man. Unfortunately we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. Delivery costs £1.50 for Greetings Cards and £3.00 for all other items. Delivery is only paid once on orders consisting of multiple products. Where these products have different delivery costs, in any event the higher delivery charge will be applicable. All of our orders are dispatched 2nd Class through Royal Mail. Orders over £50 are eligible for free delivery.

 

Orders are usually dispatched within 2-3 days of ordering, and usually delivered within 2-3 days of dispatch. We estimate that most orders should be delivered within 5-7 days of ordering. However, please note that both dispatch timings and shipping timings are subject to change at short notice and that during busy periods (such as Christmas), orders may take longer than this.

Full payment must be made before Canteiro dispatches any orders.

3.2 billing information

We reserve the right to cancel any order you place with us, both in part and in full. At our discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased by an individual. We reserve the right to cancel orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when making a purchase on our website. You agree to contact us promptly if any information given is incorrect. If we are unable to proceed with your order due to incorrect information, we may contact you for further details.

4.1 right to cancel

By law you have the right to cancel any contract with us. If you are in possession of the goods, you are under an obligation to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send goods back to us at our contact address (stated above and on the original delivery packaging of your order) at your own expense as soon as possible. This does not apply to items delivered in error, that are damaged or otherwise defective.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs if you do not return the goods.

Once you have notified us of your wish to cancel, we will refund as soon as possible. If you are in possession of the goods when cancelling, your refund will be issued once the items have been returned.

5.1 Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you using your email or postal address, both of which were provided to us when you made your purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.

All prints and graphics used by Canteiro, including those used on our products, our packaging and our website; all product photography; and the Canteiro wordmark; are all the sole intellectual property of Luke McGeagh, trading as Canteiro.

We may provide links to third party websites (particularly in our Privacy Policy). These links are intended as useful for our customers to better understand their rights and broaden their understanding of their rights online. We do not monitor these websites and have no control on their content, and cannot guarantee that their information is current and correct. You agree that you access these websites at your own risk and discretion, and that Canteiro are not liable for any harm or damages resulting from the use of these resources.

5.1 conclusion

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
